LEGISLATIVE ACTION ALERT – CLEAN CONTRACTING BILL

Today, the House of Representatives convened for the budget implementer. The Senate is expected to convene Monday.

We need to call House Speaker James Amann and Senate President Donald Williams immediately regarding SB 94, the Clean Contracting Bill.

Currently, the definition of privatization contained within SB 94 is not good enough – and is contrary to what was supposed to be in the bill. As currently written, SB 94 allows the kind of corrupt privatization that went on during the Rowland years.

Call Speaker Amann and President Williams. Tell them to fix SB 94 so that if fully protects the citizens of Connecticut.
